Chasing Better is a marketing and sustainability consulting firm that offers specialized insights into the apparel industry. They help farmers, wholesalers, brands and committees to understand their positioning within the market, to reduce their environmental impact, and to talk about environmental initiatives in clear and objective terms.
They subscribes to the notion that circular models of production can limit manufacturing inefficiencies; reducing both the costs and the environmental impacts of operations. The goal of the circular production ethos is to maximize the usefulness of every possible resource in a system, producing as few waste byproducts as possible. This is accomplished through the efficient allocation of resources and the reuse of waste byproducts. The ideal goal of the circular production model is to create an integrated system that bleeds no energy, produces no byproducts, and accounts for all elements of the apparel lifecycle from raw material extraction to end-of-life disposal.
