Goal: To help this US medical cannabis company to re-invent itself; crafting a unique brand image that would appeal to 20-30y old millennial Canadian recreational consumers.
Team: Completed during my tenure at Smith & Mason.
Involvement: Branding, illustration, page layout, packaging, motion design, 3D visualization.

We entered into this branding exercise with the insight that 'high-THC recreational Cannabis products' are often used to elevate users out of the everyday. Recreational cannabis products allow people to find unexected joy in regular moments, to uncover fresh perspective and escape from their ordinary models of thinking.
Working from this insight, our overarching concept became to transport consumers into a surreal and regal universe, where every interaction with Lord Jones would evoke feelings of ethereal elegance and unexpected joy.
We used colors like gold and royal purple to convey prestige and exclusivity, along with surreal elements like macro 3D renders and dreamlike landscapes which captured the brand's whimsical essence. The outcome was a visual narrative that transported consumers to a rich universe beneath the banal.
